I moved to Costa Rica and bought Casa Tranquila in April 2006. It was simply time to begin a new stage in my life that did not include the same challenges that years of corporate work demanded. My Border Collie, Chelsea, and I decided that, since we could not go off to see the world, we could create a home where the world would love to come see us. Manuel Antonio has proved to be the ideal choice.
After many years teaching, both in high schools and corporate environments, for companies like Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent and Oscar de la Renta, I decided it was simply time for a change. I energetically made the leap and never looked back.
Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, I came to Costa Rica after 20 years in South Florida. Real estate adventures in West Palm Beach provided my awareness for remodeling properties into prestigious homes. I simply "translated" that into Spanish, converting Casa Tranquila into a luxury villa, and creating a new world for Chelsea and myself.
